How to Get There
Celorio’s Celosia Flower Farm is a newly opened tourist site in Purok 10, Brgy. Poblacion, Tupi, South Cotabato, and it’s only 25 minutes motorcycle ride from General Santos City. It is very accessible because it’s only 125 meters walking distance from the highway, or you can take a ride by tricycle for only 10 pesos.
About the farm
The Celorio Farm grows only one kind of flower which is the ‘Celosia’ that is naturally grown and was brought from Malaysia. The farm is now considered to have a very Instagramable view because of the Celosia flowers that were planted in a congested manner. From afar they look like huge bunches of flowers that also display their bright colors under the sun.In addition to growing Celosia Flowers, the farm has also two small ponds where they culture tilapia fish in a traditional way.
Celorio Farm Activities
Since the farm has plenty of beautiful and colorful rows of Celoria flowers, you can enjoy the place by walking around and take Instagramable photos for your social media accounts.Other than the flower attraction, the farm also offers boating and fishing of tilapia fish since it has two small ponds inside. You can do boating for just 5 pesos, and tilapia fishing.
The farm has also cottages where you can take a rest and have a meal or grill your freshly caught tilapia.
